Artist's Comments
(Large version of the same pic posted to my sketchblog.) The two main characters from a comic idea I've been working on the last little while. There aren't many comics out there for younger women, so that's what this is aimed at. I think the D101 audience would like it.
Anyway, it's about the darker haired girl (Thessaly), a scholarship student at a rich boarding school, who befriends the girl with the puffy hair (Cass). Cass is a bit nuts, and thinks the forest next to the school has a carniviorous unicorn in it. The whole thing's about them and the school and the evil kids at the school. Weirdly enough, the story was inspired by James Frey, and how he's a big ol' liar liar pants on fire.  I did so enjoy his disgrace. |
