There are no Pan-Asian supermarkets down in Hell, so you can't buy Golden Boy peanuts there.

What experience and history teach is this -- that people and governments never have learned anything from history, or acted on principles.- Hegel
(I have a not-so-secret crush on Zaphod. Pity me).
I pictured Zaphod as blonde for some reason, but you certainly got the vibe of the character perfect.
Trillian is excellent too. The TV series, for some reason, entirely ignored the fact that she was of Indian descent and a very low-key, intelligent person. Irritating, that. ~_~ As for the fifth book... I am the proud owner of a H2G2 Omnibus that includes only the first four books. Thusly, I can happily pretend that the fifth never happened.
What a shame Douglas Adams died so young. H2G2 is a story I'd love to have seen completed.

Never knock on death's door, just ring the bell and run (he hates that.)
I love how you drew the characters here, they look so origional and really cool. Too bad Marvin isn't there, I'd love to see your take on him
Zaphod's facial expression(s) are so perfect. XD
