FINALLY got around to drawing the main character of this manga I love so much! Young male characters sometimes come across as bratty in shonen manga, but Ed's so well written he never seems obnoxious (except when he's deliberately being so), and is instead a complicated ball of messed up kid and iron-willed soldier.

Anyway, if you haven't read Fullmetal Alchemist yet, GET THEE TO THE LIBRARY and read it. Or book shop, whatever.

Hells yeah! FMA is full of wonderfully developed characters that manage to bust out of their archetypes. I was sad when the manga ended, but ending is a great trait that should be seen in more mangas.
