Bleach for Eliby ~damnskippy

My younger brother requested a drawing of "Ichigo from Bleach" (I probably spelled that wrong, but I don't really care) for a Christmas present. The request was followed with a "ppleeeeease," so I figured I should buck up and do it. I have no idea what this whole Bleach thing is about, so I picked up the first volume from my library to get some reference... and I've still no idea what it's all about.

1.I love the the way you drew Ichigo in your own style! I think you got his serious exspression dead on.
2. That is the right spelling of his name. Japanese is REally simple mostly, it's the kanji and politeness levels that get you. =\
3. Long story short, Ichigo become a grim reaper, adventure ensuses. And hilarity, it is a boys manga.

Aside from the sword being a bit wrong, it's a very good likeness. As others have said, you've captured the main character perfectly.

I like the color pattern you used on the Hollow/ ghost. Is that based on anything in particular?

Whatever reference you used, you really caught Ichigo well enough. ^^ I really enjoyed Bleach in the beginning- just ate up the first season, and then it got... really boring. :S This is awesome, though! I love how disgruntled he looks. ^^

I've never read Bleach either, but it's cool to see Ichigo in your unique style! (Which I've always loved, by the way.)

You're better off not knowing... It took me 50 episodes to realise the show doesn't actually do anything. Hopefully the manga is a little better, but your review doesn't have me hoping XD
heh, nice job though. His disturbingly intent eyes are muchly loved. Is also funny how he sort of looks like a cosplaying Luke Skywalker XD
